I am earl grey tea & flowers from trader joes. I am via miramar beach & square neck tops & big earrings. I am an open sun-roof, ‘I love you’ in bad handwriting, a friday night square dance & a snowball fight. I am a lecture on neuroplasticity, a late night run & a chick-fil-a frosted lemonade. I am crunchy purple grapes, a big thunderstorm, & oversized pugs. I am sunshine & sourdough bread & good will hunting. I am christmas lights, a boisterous laugh & an old voicemail from my dad. I am the first day of fall, the softest blanket & a facetime call. I am homemade pizza & the rolls on a chubby baby’s legs. I am cappuccino foam, ugly toads & sunsets. I am stiff clean sheets, sage green & spontaneous dance parties. I am a chessboard, the blue ridge parkway, & sour jelly beans. I am Fm7, spring rolls & benjamin william hastings. I am dried baby’s-breath, a french manicure, & a cellist. I am lowercase letters, grey spelled with an ‘e,’ & a poem about a bookmark.

they say you are the things you love the most.

i’ll probably cry at your wedding. i can’t help it. i feel things big.

how i got here —

my mom was a pro photographer. she ended up trading her camera in for a full diaper bag & six rambunctious babies.

When my long fight with respiratory health forced me into retirement as a musician, and deterred my initial musings of being a surgeon, I craved another art form to put the pieces of my heart back together. I picked up her dusty Canon 5D mark II and was ecstatic that I got to be an artist again. I’ve since upgraded that sweet ancient piece of history, and work full-time hangin’ out with people in love (my favorite).

I graduated in 2024 with my degree in Music Performance and Neurobiology from Carnegie Mellon University, and again in 2025 with my Masters in Business at Purdue University. I am currently working on my Masters in Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary, while living & working in Naples, FL!

Bringer of Light Photography LLC got its name & legal standing in 2021, but you can ask anyone — i’ve been taking pictures of anyone that smiles at me since I was 12.

what my photography is known for

love that just feels like real love

in-between moments

authenticity

belly-laughs

thoughtful & intentional prompting (less posing)

I'm talkin’ chills down the spine, goosebumps down the arms kinda feels.
